07/20/2012 – Howard Baron, a retired Chrysler executive, has announced he is running for one of the three Bloomfield Hills School Board of Trustee seats that will appear on the November ballot.

A 21-year resident of Bloomfield Township, Baron said he became concerned about the combined high school debate over the last few years, and became involved in the community after retiring from Chrysler two years ago.

"I initially did not take sides in the high school debate but after reviewing documents and writing op-ed pieces, I then decided it was a better decision for the community and students to vote yes to unify the the two high schools," Baron said.
